If you want to taste traditional Hungarian cuisine and looking for a cheap place to eat in the inner city be sure to try this restaurant. Their specialty is the extra large Wiener Schnitzel, that is “Bécsi Szelet” in Hungarian, thus the name of the place.

The first Bécsi Szelet Restaurant was opened in 1993 and the restaurant space became insufficient quite quickly. There was no chance to expand the unit so another Bécsiszelet restaurant was opened nearby. Today the chain consists of 6 units.
