Far from the inner city noise, on Budakeszi út, next to where the trams rest at night, is located one of Budapest’s best-known restaurants. The pleasant garden contains a pavilion, an enchanting fountain and the mouth-watering sight of an outdoor kitchen popular with guests from early spring to late autumn. The Remíz Restaurant is a favourite spot of the city’s social life and you will probably see a few familiar artists, writers, politicians, journalists and businessmen when you go there.

The Restaurant Remiz is suitable for functions for smaller or larger numbers, private receptions, family celebrations, business dinners, commercial presentations and press conferences.

The menus are available in Hungarian, English, German, Italian, French, Russian, Chinaese, Korean and Japanese. We create the monthly menu based on the season and the current choice at the market taking care to include traditional dishes and modern ones. They comprise fresh vegetable stews and from May to September dishes cooked on lava stones. Guests find a fresh choice of entres on the daily menu.
