Am Pester Donau-Ufer, am Brückenpfeiler der Erzsébet-Brücke wurde 1904 das nach dem großen ungarischen König, Mátyás benannte Matthias Keller Restaurant eröffnet. Wir erwarten die Gäste mit unverfälschten, ungarischen Geschmäcken – Fischsuppe, Dorozsmer Karpfen, Mátyás Platte, Strudel usw. – dazu gibt es vortreffliche Weine der einheimischen Weingebiete. Am Mittag und Abend hört man die Zigeunermusik der Lakatos-Dynastie.

At the foot of Chain Bridge, just in front of the Buda Castle you can find on the Danube a specially designed, 75-metre-long boat restaurant, called Spoon Restaurant Budapest, open the whole year. An der Stelle des heutigen Kaltenberg Restaurants funktionierte im 19 Jh. Eine Kaserne. Im Gebäude wurde später eine Tabakfabrik eröffnet, und das Keller funkcionierte lange als Lagerraum. Das Haus wurde vor 25 Jahren wiederbelebt, damals hat man das heutige Restaurant ausgebaut, welcher heute bis zu 360 Gäste empfangen kann.
